Recently I was honored to serve as Toyota Blogger Ambassador during Blogalicious 2014 – a place where social media influencers, industry leaders and leading brands meet, share and grow.
Day 1 kicked off with an opportunity to test drive Toyota’s wonderful fleet of cars. I had the honor of driving two hybrid cars. The Prius on the way to the Toyota plant and the Avalon on the way back to the conference. Both were super smooth drives and so quiet I didn’t really think they were on. 
Once we arrived to the super efficient plant in San Antonio, TX where the Toyota Tundra and Tacoma are manufactured, we were given a tour. In fact, we learned that they give birth to a truck every 61 seconds. What a great way to view manufacturing of products. 
In between however, we were treated to a breakfast chat with these wonderfully successful Toyota employees.
Each had an inspiring story about how life doesn’t always turn out the way you want it, but it turns out the way it was meant to.

Once we were inspired by the work of Toyota, we were ready to take on the equally inspirational Blogalicious conference. It seemed that almost every session had a touch of inspiration to help us meet our dreams and I loved every minute of it. Each day brought a new wonderful adventure, which was topped off on the last day by some more wonderful Toyota exclusives.
First came the opportunity to have a Private Meet & Greet with Lamman Rucker. Yes, the Lamman Rucker, handsome star of Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns (the Series) and Why Did I Get Married.
In getting to know him, we learned that Lamman is not only a fab actor, but an activist and spokesperson for several non-profit organizations and community action initiatives, which made him that much dreamier.
Then later that evening we had a Private Meet & Greet with Claire Sulmers – Editor-in-Chic of Fashion Bomb Daily and fashion ambassador for Toyota. She was just as fab in person as she is on her blog and social media. She was completely open to talk about her rise to the top and in encouraging us to do the same.
