Celebrate Summer with Moët Ice Impérial
Recently, I was invited by Moët & Chandon Champagne to attend a poolside soirée at La Cantera Resort & Spa, to celebrate summer with Moët Ice Impérial. Below you’ll find a recap of all the fun, along with information on how you can recreate a similar experience for yourself.
Moët Ice Impérial
First, if you’ve only tried Moët & Chandon Champagne, and have never tried Moët Ice Impérial, you need to try it this summer. Why? Moët Ice Impérial is the first and only champagne especially created to be enjoyed over ice, while remaining true to the Moët & Chandon style. Yes, ice. Jet setters in the South of France call serving champagne, in a goblet, with a few ice cubes “à la piscine” or swimming pool style. And I can see why. It’s bright, fruity, and has a deep gold color, with amber highlights, that scream summer. Perfect for any outdoor gatherings, whether you’re by the pool or not. If however, you have a pool available to you, I highly recommend it.
That was definitely the scene for us at our South of France inspired brunch at the Topaz Pool. This adults only infinity pool was the perfect backdrop for our event. At first glance it not only offered beautiful breathtaking views, but it offered everything you’d want from a resort style pool. The cabanas offered plenty of seating, ceiling fans to keep you cool, stocked mini fridges, and plenty of pool side lounges.
But our beautifully decorated cabanas weren’t the only things waiting for us. The experience was elevated further thanks to the gracious hospitality of our fabulous hosts. As fabulous hosts do, they thought of everything. Not only did we have use of a couple of cabanas, but they made sure we were never without food or drinks. Of course Moët Ice Impérial was the star of the show. Many of us enjoyed it straight, over ice, topped with fruit. Others enjoyed it in the Moët Riviera Spritz, a specialty cocktail topped with Moët Ice Impérial. Both equally delicious and refreshing.
They also provided the perfect swag for our poolside brunch. A Moet Moment straw hat and shades to keep the sun from our eyes. Very St. Tropez chic.
It was the perfect backdrop to catch up with friends and just enjoy the start of summer. And that’s exactly what we did. You just can’t beat a day filled with fab bubbly, bites and great company. Heaven I tell ya.
If this sounds like heaven to you too, you totally need to pick up some Moët Ice Impérial for yourself, and/or head to La Cantera Resort & Spa for a happy hour hosted by Moët & Chandon. Yes! Now through August 8th, you can not only enjoy Moët summer-inspired cocktails by the beautiful Topaz Pool, but proceeds from each happy hour will benefit a local charity. How cool is that? For dates, visit Evenings on the Edge at Topaz here and get ready to enjoy.
How do you enjoy Moët Ice Impérial? By itself, topped with fruit, or in a specialty cocktail like the Moët Riviera Spritz?
