Continuing Oprah and Deepak’s 21-Day Meditation Experience™
Today Oprah and Deepak’s 21-day meditation experience™ is dedicated to aligning with our natural and divine consciousness by cultivating self-awareness and presence during everyday moments. The very thing I’ve been in search of since I started this blog – living in the moment.
Living in the moment is when we allow ourselves to experience everything that is happening before us, vs. allowing our thoughts to take us back toward past transgressions or toward where we should be. It’s when we allow ourselves that luxury, that our pure self shines through and suddenly life flows smoothly, sweetly, and peacefully.
Imagine allowing yourself to live in that space 24/7, allowing a continuum of “now” consciousness.
Through meditation and affirmations, I’ve realized that it’s easier than I thought. Am I there 24/7? No, but now when a negative thought or thoughts of the past want to occupy space in my mind, I let them muddle through a bit, but once I bring myself back to consciousness, I’ve realized that a deep breath, followed by a positive thought, gets me back on track. Really my role is to simply be aware and be present. Nature takes care of the details.
So in today’s meditation Deepak will guide you through the root chakra, which when open, it not only gives us a feeling of safety, it also generates a sense of security and peace to those around us. Yes, I know many of you have seen the quote – If you want to change the world change yourself. That is what today’s meditation is about. Once you generate a sense of peace and security within yourself, those around you will feel the shift, without knowing why and will join you. That’s the power that working on yourself brings to those around you. Pretty cool huh? Enjoy today’s meditation and remember to believe and know:
