Crowd at ÉCHALE

My weekend was topped off with a good time at the free Échale! Latino Music Estyles festival at the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, TX.  I usually tend to hit the Pearl Brewery on Saturday mornings to enjoy the goods at the Farmer’s Market, but this was my first year actually getting to attend the 1st concert of the Spring Échale! Latino Music Estyles festival .

I don’t exactly know how I found out about it this time around, but was glad to know that I was going to be able to see one of my favorite bands – Ozomatli 😀  They’re eclectic sound leaves you no choice but to dance around like a mad person and that I did 🙂

Sergio Mendoza y La Okesta

The opening band was Sergio Mendoza y La Orkesta and they were great, but noone can motivate crowd participation like Ozomatli.  It was a sunny, sticky afternoon, but well worth the outing.  I believe there are two more free Spring concerts left so if you’ll be in San Antonio during any of those weekends, you should really consider attending.

What was the last music festival you went to?  What music motivates you to dance around like a mad person?
