Marianne Williamson quote - yoursassyself.comThis week’s meditations were filled with so many aha moments, that it was refreshing to be able to see how anyone can navigate out of a limited life, toward living a limitless life, through awareness and intention. So please read on to see how you too can begin living a limitless life.  Enjoy!

Yes, according to today’s Getting Unstuck meditation, consciousness has the power to organize the reality we want to live. And according to @deepakchopra, meditation is the key. Through meditation and stillness we realize that all we have to do is let go of the struggle and stop trying to fight our way through by doing more of the same, expecting a different result. Once we free our body and mind from the stress and strain of doing the same things over and over again, we’ll be more relaxed and open to uncover the power of our conscious awareness, and allow it to do the work for us. Once we let go and allow awareness to be our guide, we realize that we no longer need to struggle, worry, or strain to achieve what we want. And who doesn’t want a life filled with ease vs. worry, struggle and strain? So the next time you find yourself struggling to find a solution to something, stop, take a few deep breathes until you feel settled, and try to find a new way to look at the problem at hand to gain a solution that moves you closer to the person you want to be and toward the life you want to live. #oprah #deepakchopra #gettingunstuck #meditation #letgo #embraceselfawareness #awareness #changinghabits #selfimprovement #liveinthemoment

Today’s Getting Unstuck meditation is all about using meditation to get in touch with our creative self, which is what helps us dissolve our limiting beliefs to allow joy, love and fulfillment into our lives. If you’re like me, you’ve always thought of creativity as something tied to artistic talent, but @deepakchopra says it’s more than that. It’s what give us “…access to unlimited joy, appreciation, grace and fulfillment”. Once we’re able to let go of struggle and allow pure consciousness into our lives, we’re finally able to let go of our low expectations and see that we are worthy of receiving everything (love, joy, and wishes that come true) in limitless quantities. Deepak, however, acknowledges the fact that over time, this creativity can become partially blocked when we allow life to take us away from consciousness and awareness. But to keep your connection, he says we merely need to “…pay attention to when you laugh or feel a burst of happiness, when you feel loved and appreciated, when you hit upon a creative solution or created something that brings you joy. Pause and say to yourself, this is what I want, this is the me I want to be. With this simple affirmation you re-enforce your connection to pure awareness, with creativity as it’s source.” Currently I don’t always do it, but when I feel as sense of accomplishment, I definitely sit back and admire my work and take in the warm and fuzzy feelings tied to it. I just need to make sure I do that more often than not. Today’s Getting Unstuck meditation centers around something @brenebrown calls foreboding joy. If you’ve ever had something good happen to you, but a voice in your head tries to caution you saying it’s too good to be true, your foreboding joy. That’s doubt and skepticism creeping in, saying you deserve happiness, but with limits. According to @deepakchopra, we tend to approach life with a mixture of hope and doubt. Doubt he says, tends to limit us by pulling us back to past hurts, wounds, experiences; while hope keeps us in the present, where everything is limitless. To help us get out of doubt and move toward a life filled with hope, Deepak suggests that when we have thoughts filled with anxiety, worry, or self doubt, that we take a moment, pause, center ourselves and say: “I want better than this. I side with hope.” He says this opens us up to see and take advantage of the hope filled signs around us. And to keep this as a way of life, Deepak says we need to keep up with our meditation practice, which will not only expand our awareness, but will help us embrace our creativity and all the good that comes from it, without having to deal with worry, doubt, anxiety, or fear. I can totally relate to this because while happiness rules my world, I’ve realized that I’ve placed limits on my happiness. 🙁 But through continued practice, I hope to turn that into limitless joy. 😀 How about you, are you placing unnecessary limits on yourself? #forebodingjoy #limitlesslife #choosehope #oprah #deepakchopra #gettingunstuck #meditation #selfimprovement #selfhelp #awareness #letgo #embracelife #instaquote #instameditation

Today’s Getting Unstuck meditation focuses on how the practice of meditation allows us to naturally reach creative awareness through stillness. @oprah says “stillness is the sound of nothing and everything” and it’s always available to us is if we can just “peel back the layers of our lives, the frenzy and the noise.” @deepakchopra further defines stillness as “restful alertness, being present in the moment without tension.” That alertness, awareness is a skill and much like any other skill, it requires practice, which is where meditation comes in. He says that awareness carries on to paying attention to things going on in the here and now. That means being interested, engaged, and connected to “your own feelings, to the feelings of others, and to the feeling of a given situation.” I know as a multitasker I struggle with this because I allow my focus to be diverted toward the things I’m trying to accomplish vs. being connected to how I feel as I go through the process of it all. Slowly but surely though I’m making the shift and it’s made a world of difference, especially in being able to turn fear and self-doubt on it’s head with positive affirmations filled with hope. Here’s to us all making this more the norm! 😀 #oprah #deepakchopra #gettingunstuck #meditation #stillness #awareness #liveinthemoment #payattention #focus #instaquote #instameditation

According to @oprah in today’s Getting Unstuck meditation, “The nature of life is change, yet the nature of human beings is to resist change.” I totally can agree with that! Anyone else? Anais’ quote – And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom – is so right on. Resisting change shrinks us, however embracing change allows us to grow closer to who we were meant to be. Oprah says we just need to look toward previous changes to see that the fear and anxiety we felt, ultimately worked itself out and we made it through, with even a few changes being the best thing that ever happened to us. And I’ve definitely had enough of those moments to keep gaining the courage, as Deepak puts it, to look forward to experiencing change everyday. The area I do need to focus on though is how to not confuse external activities – work, deadlines, family, friends, life – with the dynamic energy of awareness, which Deepak says we can use to create more with, “than with constant outer activity.” He says it’s the same concept as when you’re trying to get a project done, pushing through to the wee hours of the night, vs. honoring your need for sleep and tackling it with a rested, alert mind in the morning. You’re definitely able to get better work from yourself then, than when you’re exhausted. So instead of resisting our bodies natural rhythms, sleep and change included, we should honor them and allow them to take us away from our comfort zone, filled with stagnation, toward the creative life we were meant for. And since the meaning of life is one of the most sought after answers, I think embodying these aha moments can definitely make a world of difference! Cheers to that friends! Oh Marianne Williamson, you are so right! We’re worthy simply because we’re here. As @oprah says, we all have a unique purpose to be here. We just have to stop judging and doubting ourselves to embrace our limitless life. @deepakchopra agrees and says that the greatest reason people live with limitations is self judgement. Who among us has not had moments filled with unworthy thoughts as those listed by Marianne? Deepak however says that such desires are part of life, but they’re generally seen as egotistical because it’s generally linked to riches and/or fleeting carnal wants. But the desire tied to self-worth isn’t about ego. It’s about believing you can and should have the good things in life associated with lasting fulfillment – like love, grace, and creativity to name a few. So stop limiting your life and desires, because if they’ve entered your field of existence, that means they are meant for you. So enjoy! #youareworthy #selfworth #selfawareness #liveyourlife #selfimprovement #selfhelp #oprah #deepakchopra #meditation #gettingunstuck #mariannewilliamson #quote #inspirational #instaquote #instameditation

Brenna Yovanoff is right. What you mean is what you get in life. And according to @deepakchopra we’ve all been lead to the place where we are today, by the power of intention. @oprah agrees and adds that everything happens in accordance with what we think and what we choose. So if you’re not yet living the life you want and are ready to live an expanded, limitless life, Deepak says all we need to do is to add direction to awareness, to harness the power of intention. Whether we realize it or not, intentions hold the blue prints to our lives because they hold our wishes and desires. And when our awareness and intentions align, we have the power to create the life we want from the inside out. To help bridge the gap between intention and fullfilment, Deepak says we need to set our intention by envisioning what we desire, or want to achieve. Then we need to sit back, open our mind, and pay attention to signs geared toward leading us to our goal. He says that when we allow our awareness to be lead by intention, we may sometimes feel like obstacles are keeping us from our goal, but what if they’re not obstacles at all? What if they’re just forks in the road, leading toward bigger and better things. I know I’ve definitely experienced some of these joyous surprises in my own life and I’m looking forward to more of the same. So don’t be afraid if things aren’t materializing as you hoped. Instead always be open to a bigger and better dream than you could have ever dreamt for yourself. #dreambig #setyourintention #letgo #payattention #realizeyourdreams #youareworthy #goodthingsinlife #oprah #deepakchopra #gettingunstuck #meditation #creating #limitless #life #expandedawareness #intention #brennayovanoff #quote #instameditation #instaquote #instagood
