San Antonio, Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Macy’s, Kika Rocha, Jasmine V & Sincerely Jules!

Hispanic Heritage Month (el Mes de la Herencia Hispana)ย is slowly coming to an end, but the celebrations continue. If you hadn’t heard, Macy’s has been hosting “conversations” with Kika Rocha (@KikaRochaModa),

and Julie Sarinana (@SincerelyJules) –

wpid-wp-1412716234442.jpegwhere host Julissa Bermudez asks them to share what being Latina means to them, their influences and their style. This Saturday, October 11th, they’re bringing this event to our Macy’s at North Star Mall! How totally cool is that?

The event will kick off at 2pm and I’ve been told that Jasmine V will perform, there will be a special fashion presentation and even a chance to meet the influencers! Plus, with any purchase of $25 or more you’ll receive a Hispanic Heritage Month swag bag featuring Jasmine V’s lastest EP “That’s Me Right There (ft. Kendrick Lamar)!”

Woop, woop…I’m so excited! Not only because Macy’s is joining in on the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations and has invited me to join in on the fun, but because this is yet another fun way to highlight our influence and culture, which is what it’s all about!

As I shared in my Hispanic Heritage Month post earlier this month this is a good a time as any to embrace who we are, what we want to represent and celebrate the beauty of diversity because diversity is beautiful. Not only is diversity full of bright beautiful colors and sounds, but it glows with emotions, feelings and an abundance of love. It is because of this that I think Macy’s celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with conversations, music & a colorful view of fashion hits on the same notes and it sounds bueno to me. ๐Ÿ˜‰
