We All Grow – Part One

We All Grow – Part One

You know I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and making it to the We All Grow Summit this year was no exception to that belief.  From my roommate, to the people, the speakers, and the brands, it all felt right. Earlier I shared how Mazda treated us to a memorable field trip exploring our host city and the surrounding area.  Today I’ll be sharing part one of the conference fun.

The good vibes all started when I arrived and found the We All Grow crew busy adding the finishing touches on everything.  They were swamped, but still took the time to welcome me.   Soon after my roommate, Trilce of TrilceO arrived and it was like we’ve known each other for years.  We bonded, made it to our perspective field trips the following day, and kicked it into high gear with the rest of the attendees, including these beautiful souls, during the Hampton By Hilton Seekender’s Welcome Cocktail Party.

The food, drinks, and music courtesy of María del Pilar and DJ Brandi Garcia, were the perfect back drop to get to meet new friends and catch up with old friends.  A fun time was had by all!

And it extended past the party when we were greeted by a fabulous surprise from Dove.

The following morning we were greeted by a fab breakfast and many inspiring talks by fellow digital influencers and celebrities using social media to expand awareness on everything they’re working on.

Alicia Ybarbo, the five-time Emmy Award-winning producer for the Today Show and author of ‘Sh*tty Mom for All Seasons: Half-@ssing It All Year Long’ (Abrams) and ‘Sh*tty Mom:  The Parenting Guide for the Rest of Us’ kept us rolling during her panel. And Lilliana Vazquez, the multi-media powerhouse and creative force behind TheLVGuide.com, shared how perseverance is how she’s been able to expand her online presence into TV appearances, which we learned after the conference now includes being a regular contributor for the TODAY Show!

And then came the emotional one on one with Editorial Vice President of ¡HOLA! USA and HOLA.com, Cristy Marrero and Rosie Rivera, Jenny Rivera’s sister and sexual abuse survivor, who stated she hopes to be the voice for the voiceless.

Followed by the uber talented Gaby Espino.

Then it was off to our conference sessions and some fabulous pampering by Neutrogena. Both their suite and their beautiful Brand Ambassador Sandra Echeverria were amazing!

And after a few more inspiring sessions from Crafty Chica herself Kathy Cano Murillo, Mimi G, and Jasmine Star, it was time to close out our night with a fun happy hour hosted by Pinterest.
